Add smart sensors to your new KABE
For fans of a KABE caravan or motor home, it is good to know that the KABE SMART-D Panel can be expanded with KABE Smart Level. This allows you to see in the KABE SMART-D Panel whether your camping equipment is level, how full your gas bottle is and what the tyre pressure is. KABE Smart Level is included as standard in the Imperial model and can be added during the configuration process for the Van, Royal or Crown motorhome models and the Royal and Hacienda caravan models.
If you make this choice, your KABE will be equipped with a base station that allows you to add even more smart sensors at any time to complete your system. Within Bluetooth range, you can monitor the added smart sensors via the E-Trailer app. on your smartphone. You will find KABE Smart Level for €597 in the configuration process under the heading ‘Other equipment.’

Included in the KABE Smart Level:
Gas level sensor: Measures the fill level of one gas cylinder in percentages and kilograms. You will receive a warning when the gas level is low, so you can take action in time and never run out of gas. An adapter is included, with which the sensor can be attached under an aluminium gas cylinder.
Tyre pressure sensors: These not only measure the current tyre pressure, but also the tyre temperature. While driving, you will know if the tyres are OK and you will receive a warning when action is needed.
Digital spirit level: This allows you to see at a glance if your camping equipment is level and what you need to do for each wheel (up or down in centimetres) to achieve this.
Expansion possibilities:
You can easily add more smart E-Trailer sensors later to complete your system. These sensors connect to your Smart Level base station. Simply scan the QR code of the ordered sensor via the E-Trailer app. to connect. You can order these sensors from your dealer or in the E-Trailer webshop.
E-Load (nose wheel with ballast sensor): This allows you to hit the road safely with the right amount of ballast. The E-Trailer app. shows you exactly what you need to do to achieve the right amount of ballast.
E-Temperature: A handy addition. By detecting temperature deviations, you know if the hitch is correctly adjusted, if your water tank is at risk of freezing and if your pet is comfortable. In short, an indispensable sensor! Tip: Think about the different places where you want to place a temperature sensor, such as in the refrigerator, near the water tank or in the bathroom to prevent mould. The temperature sensor also measures the humidity!
E-Switch (contact sensor): Prevents damage by warning you if a window or roof hatch is still open when you set off. Tip: You can add up to five of each sensor. This allows you to fit each window or roof hatch with a sensor.
E-Gaslevel: Why not have a gas level sensor on every gas bottle? The gas bottle sensor is attached to the bottom of a steel gas bottle with a magnet and uses ultrasonic technology to measure the gas level and display it in the E-Trailer app.
Note: This sensor does not work on plastic gas bottles. You will need an adapter for an aluminium gas bottle.
Tip: You can add up to five gas level sensors. This is especially handy if you like to camp in the winter!
