Add smart sensors to your new Hobby
Included in all new Hobby models is the HOBBYCONNECT app. From the 2025 season, the Smart Trailer System can be selected for €295 in the options list (step 4, on-board technology). This option includes the Starter Pack Basic (base station) with an E-Gaslevel sensor (free placement). From now on, you can read the gas level from both the HOBBYCONNECT app and the E-Trailer app if you have chosen a Smart Trailer System. Furthermore, you can easily add extra E-Trailer sensors that you purchase through the webshop or your dealer. These sensors connect to the base station via Bluetooth and can be read with the E-Trailer app. Click on ‘More information’ to see how you can expand your system.

Expansion options:
You can easily add more E-Trailer smart sensors later to complete your system. These sensors connect to your Basic Starter Pack. Simply scan the QR code of the ordered sensor via the E-Trailer app. to connect. You can order these sensors from your dealer or in the E-Trailer webshop.
- E-Pressure prevents accidents by ensuring the correct tyre pressure. A blowout often occurs when a tyre slowly deflates, causing the temperature to rise and the tyre to burst. The E-Pressure module prevents this: you will receive an immediate notification if the pressure deviates from the correct level. The wireless sensors also measure tyre temperature, which is useful when driving downhill. You will also save fuel by using the correct voltage.
- E-Temperature, always displays the correct temperature! E-Temperature not only measures temperature, but also humidity. Useful for the refrigerator to prevent mould growth or to transport pets safely. You receive a warning if there are any deviations, so you can take action in time. Did you forget the power source? A sudden change in temperature helps you notice this quickly. This way, E-Temperature is more useful than you think!
Good to know: you can add up to five of each sensor!
- E-Switch (contact sensor). A roof hatch or window left open when you drive away? Not with the E-Switch module from E-Trailer. Within a fraction of a second, you will receive a notification on your smartphone, allowing you to stop before anything gets damaged. This makes damage to an open roof hatch or window a thing of the past.
- E-Load, safe on the road with the right nose weight! The wrong nose weight can lead to swaying, reduced grip and even a fine. E-Load allows you to measure the nose weight easily and accurately, so you can always travel safely. This sensor is mounted in the jockey wheel.
