Meet Joachim and Jürgen
A few months ago, we asked our newsletter subscribers based in Germany, whether they would like to support us at trade fairs. We were truly overwhelmed by the number of enthusiastic responses we received. Since then, we have selected Joachim and Jürgen to support our team. In this interview, we would like to introduce you to them.

1. “A small but truly valuable improvement” – Joachim
In 2025, Joachim bought his CHAUSSON 630 Etape campervan from his local dealer, equipped with air suspension and a security system from the dealers options list. At first, he was not aware that his campervan had already been delivered from the factory with a built-in Starter Package Plus. With his technical background, Joachim was able to resolve a few technical issues himself during the first months of owning his campervan. In doing so, he discovered that he was also the proud owner of a Starter Package Plus.
“With the knowledge and confidence we have today in E-Trailer’s products, my wife and I would have preferred to have E-Suspension, E-Movement and E-Switch installed and, above all, integrated with our Starter Package Plus directly at the factory. It is simply much more convenient to see everything in the E-Trailer app,” says Joachim.
When we asked him why he was so keen to share his experience with fellow campers at trade fairs, he explained: “The story of E-Trailer — continuously introducing, developing and integrating more intelligent and useful products and functions — inspired me to work more closely with E-Trailer. One small but genuinely valuable improvement was the ability to calibrate E-Waterlevel to the contours of our odd shaped watertank. It may seem like a small feature, but this feature was added after we purchased our E-Waterlevel, allowing us to benefit from the product innovation through a free app update. It is genuinely exciting to apply those updates and smart improvements.”

2. “Unfortunately, I neglected to choose the Starter Package Plus initially” – Jürgen
Jürgen is the proud owner of a KNAUS VAN TI 650 MEG Platinum Selection, which he bought shortly after his retirement. He first became aware of the air suspension system from SMV through an article in the magazine Reisemobil International. He then visited the E-Trailer booth at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf and ordered an air suspension system shortly afterwards.
“I am currently in the process of gradually expanding my E-Trailer system with more modules, or replacing existing ones from other manufacturers. The system is easy to install, reliable and intuitive to use. Unfortunately, I neglected to choose the Starter Package Plus initially. Today, I would recommend that everyone opt for the Starter Package Plus right from the start, even if the need for the additional features is not immediately apparent at the time of purchase.”

“Before purchasing a caravan, motorhome or tent, it is crucial to be clear about the specific type of holiday you wish to take. In the past, we would stay in one location for three to five weeks at a time, making a caravan the perfect choice for us. Today, however, we prefer to travel by motorhome, where the journey itself becomes the destination.
Over the decades, camping has become increasingly luxurious. Nevertheless, every individual still has the freedom to decide for themselves exactly how much luxury, closeness to nature and individuality they desire.”
